ADAM 

Meet Adam, the very first man God has created after every everything set up. You can read the complete passage on Genesis 1 and 2. Adam means "MAN". Adam have a very strong connection and intimacy with God, because God gave His own spirit to him.
Adam was formed from the ground. The word "formed" suggests the careful work of a potter making an exquisite art-piece. Into this earthen vessel God breathed the breath of life (Gen 2:7). These words describe vivid intimacy between God and man not shared by animals.

As a single man living, God gave Adam task, to rule all creation, how can Adam knows this? 
There's a close relation Adam made with God, I imagine how Adam talk with God freely. 
I even imagine how excited when Adam walk with God and discussed a name for animals, fish, birds. How he talk with God about one day spent with God at night and oh how I envy Adam because of this priviledge he had.
Adam has a very close relationship with God, enough so he knows what God's purpose in his life, enough to knows God's heart, enough to obey God's command (not to eat Tree-of-knowledge-good-and-evil), enough to focus on God.


There is 2 point that Adam teach us, how he build his relation with God in his single life:

EVE

Meet Eve, the very first woman created from Adam's ribs. She was created from part of Adam's life.
Thus, when God made Adam, He prepared for Eve too. (Gen 2:18-21)



You know, God made Eve just like Adam, He want Eve has His spirit too.. Thats why, on Gen 2:20 no helper match for Adam. Eve has a unique role, she formed by God himself, created when no one knows, Adam was slept. 
I imagine how Eve has a processed of form making with God. When God created Eve, it must be very careful, He put His very attention on Eve only. God put Adam to sleep so He can focused on creation of Eve.  I always believe her face, her hand, her hair, was made with love.

When Eve breath for the first time and open her eyes, she looked at her God. She see God, mean that She has to depend on God for everything, she has to put her trust in God. When God brings her to Adam, Eve submit to God. If she doesnt have submit heart, maybe she would never met Adam. 
(Gen 2:22)



Eve in modern world knows that she dont have to spend million dollars to have world applaud on her, to be loved by someone. 
Eve in modern world knows that what matter the most was her character, not what clothes she wears. 
She priotized her time with God, not hours of make up and millions tricks to be more beautiful. 
She look to God when everything seems impossible. 
Seeing God in every season of her life, not only depend on her feelings but depend on Gods words in her life.
She wont craving for someone else's attention because she knows God's give His full attention to her.


ADAM & EVE before PARENTING

After the process in their single life, God unite them in Eden. They have to met in Eden and work to fulfil the purpose of God. 


One fine day, Eve was take a walk in Eden alone, until a serpent came to her. I wont be sharing how Eve fall into Satan's trap in detail. You know the rest of the story until Eve & Adam ate forbidden fruit. (Gen 3:1-6)

The fall of the marriage start right before two people decided to eat forbidden fruit on their understanding. They choose to trust man's idea over a God's words. Eve trust her idea about those fruits which took Adam to trust to that idea too.


The next fall was when both Adam & Eve accussed, no one want to took the blame the sins of disobedience. Adam blame Eve, which means blaming God for created Eve for Adam. Eve blaming satan. This blaming cycle let a fall of marriage.


 
The Love Story of Adam & Eve is so pure, they gave a place for God to intervent their lives. 
How many couples still have a room of God to rule their lives today?

No matter how Adam & Eve's fall, you have to see that Seth was living proof that they are trying to be a good parents and to depending on God.

yess, this is the truth that your love story wont be like disney princess, so full of happily ever after promises..
Bible love story was full of reality of lives..
But what will be more beautiful than to walk together with God?

It's my first post this year! I know its late but Happy New Year 2015 all!!! 
My first post this year will be something I want to share about "time", tentang waktu..

Banyak orang excited ketika memasuki tahun baru, why?
They want to have fresh start.. and it's true! New year adalah kesempatan untuk setiap orang punya fresh start!
Hanya seringkali yang mereka lakukan bukan menerima kejadian di masa lalu melainkan menutup dan seolah-olah menganggap tidak ada.

Teman-teman dibutuhkan suatu keberanian untuk menerima setiap masa lalu yang sudah terjadi. Setiap orang mengalami kegagalan, setiap orang pernah melakukan kesalahan, belajarlah untuk menerima bahwa kejadian itu ada. Bahkan dibutuhkan keberanian yang jauh lebih besar lagi untuk belajar mengampuni diri sendiri atas setiap kesalahan yang kamu buat di masa lalu.
Jangan lagi mengambil tahun baru sebagai cara untuk menutup apa yang telah terjadi. It isnt going to work! Belajarlah menerima dan mengampuni :)

Semua mungkin sudah mendengar cerita ini ya, mengenai Anak yang Hilang, si Sulung dan si Bungsu. Karena ayatnya cukup panjang, jadi hanya beberapa ayat yang saya highlight hari ini ya..  :)

Prolog perumpamaannya:
15:11
Yesus berkata lagi: "Ada seorang mempunyai dua anak laki-laki. 
15:12
Kata yang bungsu kepada ayahnya: Bapa, berikanlah kepadaku bagian harta milik kita yang menjadi hakku. Lalu ayahnya membagi-bagikan harta kekayaan itu di antara mereka.
15:13
Beberapa hari kemudian anak bungsu itu menjual seluruh bagiannya itu lalu pergi ke negeri yang jauh. Di sana ia memboroskan harta miliknya itu dengan hidup berfoya-foya.

Setelah si Bungsu melarat dan susah mendapatkan makanan:

Lalu ia menyadari keadaannya, katanya: Betapa banyaknya orang upahan bapaku yang berlimpah-limpah makanannya, tetapi aku di sini mati kelaparan.

Aku akan bangkit dan pergi kepada bapaku dan berkata kepadanya: Bapa, aku telah berdosa terhadap sorga dan terhadap bapa,

aku tidak layak lagi disebutkan anak bapa; jadikanlah aku sebagai salah seorang upahan bapa.

Maka bangkitlah ia dan pergi kepada bapanya. ...

Setelah Bungsu kembali, sang Bapa telah melihat dari jauh, berlari mendapatkan dia dan segera mengadakan pesta untuk merayakan kedatangan Bungsu. Tetapi respon si Sulung:

Maka marahlah  anak sulung itu dan ia tidak mau masuk. Lalu ayahnya keluar dan berbicara dengan dia.

Tetapi ia menjawab ayahnya, katanya: Telah bertahun-tahun aku melayani bapa dan belum pernah aku melanggar perintah bapa, tetapi kepadaku belum pernah bapa memberikan seekor anak kambing untuk bersukacita dengan sahabat-sahabatku.
15:30
Tetapi baru saja datang anak bapa yang telah memboroskan harta kekayaan bapa bersama-sama dengan pelacur-pelacur, maka bapa menyembelih anak lembu tambun itu untuk dia.

1. Kedua anak, baik si Bungsu maupun si Sulung. Kasih mereka terhadap Bapanya perlu dipertanyakan. Bungsu kembali pada Bapanya karena lapar (bukan karena rindu). Sulung bekerja pada Bapanya supaya sesekali ia dapat bersenang-senang dengan sahabatnya (bukan dengan tulus).
2. Kasih Bapa pada kedua anaknya tulus. Ia tidak memilih-milih, kedua anaknya ia hampiri. Ia berikan fasilitas terbaik bagi anak-anaknya.

Seringkali kita datang pada Bapa bukan karena rindu. Tetapi mencari sesuatu, mencari berkat-Nya. Dari perumpamaan ini bisa dibandingkan Kasih Bapa dan Kasih Anak yang sangat berbeda.
Eksistensi Tuhan yang paling nyata adalah KASIH yang DIA nyatakan dalam hidup kita. Sekalipun kita tidak setia, IA TETAP SETIA karena ALLAH adalah KASIH. Sekalipun kita tidak layak, DIA TETAP MENGASIHI kita. This is the greatest love of all..

Sadari bahwa Allah begitu mengasihi kita, dan mari kasihi DIA dengan cara yang terbaik..

I feel like I should share this for you, I keep thinking and wondering about this bible section from last Sunday. :)
Have you heard psalms 91?

I just realized that was amazing part of bible I ever heard, for me its like living everyday walking with HIM, read psalms 91 everyday you wake up, every morning, and live with passion to HIS words.. and try HIM, our GOD will do the part that you cannot do....

Psalms 91
91:1
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Orang yang duduk dalam lindungan Yang Mahatinggi dan bermalam dalam naungan Yang Mahakuasa 

91:2
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Dengan panjang umur akan Kukenyangkan dia, dan akan Kuperlihatkan kepadanya keselamatan dari pada-Ku."
